Do you want to see your photos in our zine? Do you want other people to see your photos in our zine? Do you want the opportunity to sell prints to an engaged audience? Well, you’re in the right place! We just ask you to take a peek at the following guidelines:
- Our catchment area for submissions includes a big chunk of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, but excludes Montreal and Toronto.
- We only feature analog photos. Nothing against digital photography, but this zine is all about the creation of physical, tangible images. That includes film (from 8mm to 8×10), Polaroids, solargraphs, tintypes, darkroom experiments, paper negatives, daguerrotypes, &c.
- Submissions are limited to 4 photos per photographer per issue.
- We only have enough space to feature less than 10% of submitted photos and we typically curate based on cohesion with other selected works, so keep trying even if yours aren’t selected!
- Works by emerging artists who identify as part of priority groups outlined in our mandate are particularly welcome, as we aim to foster an equitable and vibrant community.
- Please read our license agreement before submitting. In short: you maintain ownership of your work and we’ll never use your photos without your consent.
- If you don’t see the form below, it’s because we’re curating the upcoming issue. Submissions will re-open when the new issue is released.
- Dust your negatives unless you can justify some added value that it provides.
